We took our time, as usual. Tata told Papa to pick him up promptly at 1.30pm from commonwealth. Guess what, i only finished taking my shower at 1.30pm! hah! Tata was not all pleased with Papa's late arrival. So, Papa put the blame on us! Like what the hell! Yeah, so Tata scolded us, HAHA! We were the last to arrive, again, but this time, there was enough food to go around. Boy, did my relatives stuff us. We had no heart to say no so they piled our banana leaves with rice and other dishes and that was at about 3 plus so i told myself i am not going to eat dinner! No surprise, the men went down to the void decks to get alcohol down their systems. Some of my cousins weren't there, sadly, but i got to know more of my other cousins. I thought Kasturi was 17 and Priya was 14 but Kasturi was actually 14 and Priya was 12! I never even knew them. So everyone mingled and all. There's even going to be a family picnic in July! This wouldn't have happened if Tata's nephew hadn't passed away, i am not saying that it's good that he passed but really, his death has brought the family together. Papa had to send his aunt back to Bukit Batok and Tata also wanted to drink there too, haha, but turns out, his drinking 'kaki' was sleeping! So he had to be sent back. Mum insisted on going to the supermarket and it was already 9pm plus! Did some grocery shopping and and headed back to home sweet home.
